I would like to sure that I am covered for any liability I may be exposed to if the vehicle is stolen or if I have an accident. How can I do this?
Your rentals includes:
a. Damage Insurance: the lessee will be responsible for the repair expenses of the vehicle NT$10,000 deductible
b. Theft Insurance: if the vehicle is stolen Lessee will pay vehicle loss compensation 30% of the vehicle current value
c. Compulsory: up to NT$1,400,000 any one person death
d. Third party liability: up to NT$2,600,000 any one accident (Property: NT$200,000 including) e. Passenger liability: up to NT$1,000,000 any one person
In the event of theft or an accident involving the vehicle, the Lessee shall notify the police and the Lessor immediately regarding the cause of the event, the extent of the damages and the location of the vehicle. If the Lessee fails to give such notification and that failure result in denial of request for compensation, the Lessee shall be held responsible to compensate the Lessor for any damage arising threrefrom.
For more comprehensive protection, the Lessee can purchase additional insurance (C.D.W): Damage Insurance: the repair expenses for vehicle damage can be lowered to only NT$5,000 Theft Insurance: the vehicle stolen loss compensation can be lowered to only 15% of the vehicle current value. How do I know if the rental location will be open at the times I specify for pick up and drop off?

Can I get an automatic transmission vehicle?
All vehicles in Nice rent a car is automatic and available at any locations.
What is policy regarding one-way rentals between countries in Taiwan?
One way rentals may be allowed to specified cities between countries. In these circumstances a one way fee may apply. However, in some instances one way rentals are not allowed between countries or may be limited to specific types of vehicle.
